This books covers difficult themes of teenage pregnancy, poverty, divorce, and abuse while retaining a hope-filled perspective.
The characters in this book have a special place in my heart. Amy Nielsen crafted such beautifully flaw characters; there wasn't a single person who felt like a one-dimensional tool to move the plot forward.
This novel was inspired by the author's personal experiences as a teenage mom which I believe contributed to how real and raw WORTH IT was. Amy Nielsen uses her platform to advocate for needed supports for teens and parents.
